Defining the Science of Anger
Although anger is one of the most common emotions that people have, it is the least understood.
let's look at the science of anger, the psychology behind it and the social and physical impact it leave in
the aftermath.
There are two camps in the science of anger. Some believe that anger is a result of a
painful apprehensive uneasiness of the mind or illness. Others believe anger is psychoneurotic or psychotic
disorder, namely depression. While this may be true for some individuals, it is not true of everyone.
The problems seem to escalate simply because scientists and others are looking at anger and not
the entire formation of the problem. Scientists and other professionals around the world recently study
uncontrolled anger, but the problem is anger still exists uncontrolled around the world more now than ever.
Effective use of the science of anger ( anger management ) means learning to
differentiate what is truly a situation worth getting angry about, and what is just your inner brat over-reacting.
It also means learning to express your anger directly and constructively, without losing emotional control. Not
only will you be less stressed by your anger , but you will also get better results.
The science of anger provides the information of the origin of anger, the situations where anger
seems to arise from, and the types of steps to be taken to reduce or eradicate the problems.
People act aggressively because they fear that someone else will get them first. They become
insanely jealous because they're scared of losing what they love. They bully other people just to make themselves
feel powerful. Nations attack other nations out of fear of losing influence.
Addiction to anger is one of the most common and lethal addictions, and one most seldom
recognized. The anger addict becomes hooked by the false sense of power anger brings. As the addiction grows, it
consumes more and more of their lives, producing painful consequences.
Then again, anger may also come from deeper psychological conditions. An example is bipolar. It
is a form of depression can be seen when the person explodes for no apparent reason. Anger comes in many
forms, so does people.
A psychopathic will bury his emotions and act on them once the time is convenient for him. Some
of us know how to deal with anger, while others blow up and cause harm to self or to others. Anger comes in all
forms, and it is all people.
In many instances, the person will strike out verbally, but in other cases, uncontrolled anger
persons harm others physically. Not only are the person that has uncontrolled anger a target for risk, but anyone
that is around this type of person is subject to harm.
In time if a person does not find a resolve for his or her anger, it is more than likely
that the anger will take full advantage of his health. If a person continues to explode venting
anger then the blood pressure is affected, the heart, the nerves, and the mind are all targets of anger out of
control.
The problem with anger regardless of what form it comes in or who looses control is that it
affects the physical. There are many children in America living through their explosions, so this is another level
of anger that we can analyze.
If this person is missing one or more of these necessities, something is going to happen in the
future of that person's life. When a person is young, that person needs education, parental guidance, emotional
support, nutrition, exercise, and so forth.
Understanding the science of anger, finding out the causes of anger and using appropriate anger
management techniques will a step in the right direction in anger conquest.
